Job summary

Fres-co System USA, Inc. in Los Angeles, CA is seeking a Senior Estimator to lead the full budget lifecycle for complex projects from conceptual design through bid.

This role drives estimating strategy, oversees cost development and risk management, and coordinates with Preconstruction, Operations, and trade partners. You will present budgets and executive summaries to clients, manage scope, and guide pursuit strategies while mentoring Estimators and Estimating Engineers, ensuring accuracy,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in construction management, engineering, or related field.
• 8+ years in construction estimating or preconstruction with a commercial GC.
• Experience leading budgets, client presentations, and project pursuits.
• Strong knowledge of project types, delivery methods, and construction systems.
• Proficiency in Excel, Bluebeam, PlanGrid/ProCore, OST.

Responsibilities

• Lead and control the full budget lifecycle from conceptual through bid.
• Prepare and present budgets and executive summaries to clients.
• Oversee trade scoping, subcontractor bid analysis, and risk alignment.
• Track cost variances and support value engineering.
• Develop winning pursuit strategies with Preconstruction and Operations.
• Mentor Estimators and Estimating Engineers; manage workload.
