The role involves developing subcontractor scopes, analyzing proposals, and coordinating with project teams throughout design development and construction document phases. The ideal candidate will have a four-year degree in construction management or civil engineering, 3–5 years of estimating experience with a general contractor, and strong knowledge

Qualifications

• Four-year degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• 3-5 years minimum of professional experience working with a General Contractor in estimating.
• Experience with CMiC and scheduling concepts is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead estimator on specific bid efforts.
• Support multiple preconstruction efforts and contribute to bid strategies.
• Develop subcontractor scopes from plans and specs for bid day use.
• Analyze subcontractor proposals for cost implications and identify exclusions.
• Prepare estimates during Construction Document phase with adequate subcontractor input.
