Job summary

Fres-co System USA, Inc. is seeking a Preconstruction Manager to lead day-to-day preconstruction efforts on commercial and multifamily projects in Los Angeles area.

You will build relationships with Owners and design partners early, shape budgets and project plans, and stay involved as work moves from planning to execution. You'll manage real-time trend budgets, coordinate with Estimating and Operations, and mentor pursuing leads while expanding to multiple projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred.
• 3+ years of project management or preconstruction experience with a general contractor.
• Experience across multifamily, commercial, or mixed-use projects.
• Solid understanding of construction documents, budgeting, and constructability concepts.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with Owners, design partners, and subcontractors.
• Manage day-to-day preconstruction execution from pursuit through construction handoff.
• Schedule and support design and preconstruction coordination meetings and maintain schedules.
• Coordinate with Estimating for drawings, budgets, and cost studies.
• Own the real-time trend budget and log cost-impacting items.
• Manage value engineering items through to disposition.
• Support Pursuit Leads on strategy, proposals, and interview prep.
• Start with a single project and grow to multiple projects with mentorship.
• Own project-level preconstruction data and dashboards.
• Contribute to tools, templates, and processes to raise efficiency.
