Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Senior Estimator to lead the development and coordination of large, multi-discipline cost estimates and schedules for major infrastructure projects. You will supervise estimators, validate quantities, and prepare detailed cost deliverables while coordinating with design teams and clients.

The role offers flexibility with working from home or Stantec offices in the US or Canada, with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Engineering, Construction Management, Operations Management, Business Management, or related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of combined experience in an estimating and construction role.
• Field experience on major infrastructure or waterfront construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the development of multi-discipline cost estimates and construction schedules.
• Coordinate input parameters for cost estimates and schedules.
• Validate material takeoffs and construction quantities from drawings.
• Prepare basis of cost estimate reports for end users.
• Develop estimate execution plans outlining strategy and staffing.
• Interface with management and clients for estimating tasks.
