Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Senior Estimator to develop, manage, and coordinate cost estimates for building and facility projects worldwide, working with a dynamic team of estimators, schedulers, and construction engineers. You will lead multidisciplinary effort, ensure estimates align with project milestones, and drive quality through design reviews and vendor pricing.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Operations Management, Business Management, or related field
Minimum of 10 years of combined experience in estimating and construction roles
Experience with multi-discipline estimating and coordinating multiple scopes
Experience with procurement support, pricing, and change/claims valuation
Strong leadership and client-facing skills in a team environment
Proficiency with common estimating software and scheduling tools

Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate development of multi-discipline cost estimates and construction schedules
Develop detailed estimates for architectural systems, envelopes, interiors, finishes, and building components
Coordinate input from other estimators and align with project milestones
Validate material takeoffs and construction quantities from drawings
Prepare estimate execution plans and labor-force work plans
Coordinate and communicate with vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors for quotations
