Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Senior Estimator to lead the development of multi-discipline cost estimates and construction schedules for complex water infrastructure and hydropower projects. You will coordinate teams of discipline estimators and support design teams across global initiatives.

The role emphasizes leadership in large studies, capital programs, and similar portfolios, with travel to domestic and possibly international sites. Flexible work from home or offices is available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Engineering, Construction Management, Operations Management, Business Management, or related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of combined experience in an estimating and construction role.
• Experience with hydropower, water treatment, wastewater treatment, pumping systems, process mechanical systems, or major water infrastructure projects is required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the development of multi-discipline cost estimates and construction schedules.
• Coordinate input parameters for cost estimates and schedules.
• Prepare basis of cost estimate reports and labor-force work plans.
• Identify risks, opportunities, and conduct cost/schedule risk analyses as required.
• Interface with clients and stakeholders to ensure estimate defensibility.
