Job summary

Rosendin Electric in Anaheim is seeking a senior Estimator III to lead the estimation process for multiple projects, coordinating with estimators, suppliers, and customers. You will prepare comprehensive estimates, drive value engineering, review specs and drawings, and ensure timely bid submissions.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Engineering and at least 5 years of estimating experience, with proficiency in Accubid, LiveCount Cloud, and Bluebeam.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years' estimating or other relevant experience in closing construction estimates.
• Advanced Experience in Accubid estimating software, LiveCount Cloud, and Bluebeam software preferred.

Responsibilities

• Establish project objectives, procedures, and deliverables.
• Prepare the estimate from quantity take-off on the project and complete the estimate to computer printout.
• Identify parts of the project that may be key to making a competitive estimate and evaluate possible areas for potential value engineering cost savings.
• Review proposal specifications, drawings, and attend pre-bid meetings to determine the scope of work and required contents of the estimate.
• Provide guidance to personnel preparing the completion matrix discipline for assigned bids.
• Ensure all working documents and data are maintained to back-up estimate figures.
