Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Senior Estimator to lead multi-discipline cost estimates and schedules for large water infrastructure projects. You will coordinate discipline estimators, support design teams, and defend estimates with clients throughout project development.

This role emphasizes hydropower, water treatment, and major water conveyance systems, requiring extensive field and office collaboration, international project exposure, and a proven leadership track record.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of combined estimating and construction experience.
• Experience with hydropower, water treatment, or major water infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

• Supervise development of multi-discipline cost estimates and schedules.
• Coordinate input from civil, mechanical, electrical, and process disciplines.
• Prepare basis of estimate reports and risk/opex analyses.
• Lead client communications and estimate defensibility throughout development.
• Provide mentoring to junior estimators and coordinating teams.
