Job summary

Stantec is seeking an experienced Senior Estimator to develop, manage, and coordinate large multi-discipline cost estimates and construction schedules for complex infrastructure projects.

You will lead teams of discipline estimators and collaborate with engineers, schedulers, and clients worldwide, focusing on hydropower, water treatment, and major water infrastructure. Travel may be required as projects span various regions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Engineering, Construction Management, Operations Management, Business Management, or related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of combined experience in estimating and construction.
• Experience with hydropower, water treatment, wastewater treatment, pumping systems, or major water infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the development of multi-discipline cost estimates and construction schedules.
• Coordinate input from estimating disciplines into a single cost estimate.
• Prepare basis of cost estimate reports and site-specific estimating criteria.
• Interface with clients and stakeholders to ensure estimate defensibility and alignment on scope.
• Identify risks and opportunities and contribute to cost and schedule risk analyses.
