Job summary

Stantec is seeking an experienced Senior Estimator to lead large, multi-discipline cost estimates and schedules for major water infrastructure projects worldwide.

You will coordinate discipline estimators, develop detailed estimates for hydropower facilities, water/wastewater plants, and conveyance systems, and support procurement and risk analyses. This role requires travel and strong client-facing skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Engineering, Construction Management, Operations Management, Business Management, or related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of combined experience in an estimating and construction role.
• Experience estimating hydropower, water treatment, wastewater treatment, pumping systems, or major water infrastructure projects is required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the development of multi-discipline cost estimates and construction schedules.
• Coordinate input parameters for cost estimates and schedules across disciplines.
• Prepare basis of cost estimate reports for end users.
• Develop estimate execution plans, staffing, and schedules for major estimating efforts.
• Interface with clients and stakeholders to ensure scope alignment and defensible estimates.
