Job summary

Sundt Construction seeks a Senior Estimator to lead preconstruction activities, serving as a primary contact with design teams and owners. The role spans earthwork, paving, utilities, and structures for transit, civil, and highway projects, with responsibility for detailed take-offs, quotes, and comprehensive cost estimates.

Qualified candidates will have 10+ years in estimating and a four-year engineering degree, with LEED or DBIA credentials preferred.

Qualifications

• Proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite.
• LEED accreditation and DBIA certification preferred or willingness to obtain.
• Four-year engineering degree or equivalent with technical training.

Responsibilities

• Lead estimating across disciplines for various delivery methods.
• Prepare detailed take-offs and cost estimates for bids.
• Coordinate with suppliers, contractors, and interns for quotes.
• Explain estimates during bid reviews with stakeholders.
• Utilize cost history data to verify production rates.
