Job summary

Sundt Construction is seeking a Senior Estimator to lead preconstruction estimating efforts from the design phase through bid submission. You will work with design teams and owners, developing conceptual estimates, budgets, and logistics plans with minimal oversight.

Qualifications

Four-year engineering degree or equivalent combinations of technical training and related experience.
LEED accreditation and DBIA certification preferred, or willingness to obtain.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

Performs basic estimating functions including quantity takeoff and pricing development for all trade work.
Develops conceptual estimates for review by senior personnel.
Leads preparation of estimating documents and budgets with minimal oversight.
Performs advanced estimating tasks for hard bid pursuits and constructability reviews.
Coordinates with operations to ensure feasible project plans.
Provides cost feedback to design team on cost and constructability.
