Job summary

Sundt is seeking a Senior Estimator to operate with minimal oversight on preconstruction teams, acting as the principal contact with design teams and owners. The role covers all project delivery methods, with strength in estimating for mechanical and electrical scopes and preparing conceptual estimates with logistics planning.

Ideal candidates will have 10+ years in estimating, LEED and DBIA credentials (or willingness to obtain), and proficiency in MS Office.

Qualifications

• Ten or more years of experience in an estimating role.
• Proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite programs.
• LEED accreditation and DBIA certification or willingness to obtain them.
• Ideal candidates have project experience in key market sectors.

Responsibilities

• Capably performs basic estimating functions including quantity takeoff and pricing for all trade work including mechanical and electrical scopes.
• Develops conceptual estimates for review by senior personnel.
• Leads preparation of estimating documents with minimal oversight, including budgets and subcontracts.
• Performs advanced estimating tasks as the prime contact for hard bid pursuits and applies indirect costs.
