Civil Constructors, LLC is seeking a Senior Estimator with 5+ years of heavy civil/highway experience to lead cost estimation efforts. You will analyze drawings, develop detailed estimates, and manage quantity take-offs for grading, drainage, utilities, and paving.

The role involves evaluating subcontractor quotes and coordinating with field teams. The ideal candidate will have a Civil Engineering background, strong communication skills, and the ability to thrive under deadlines.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5+ years of experience with heavy civil and highway construction projects.
• Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management program is preferred.
• Proficiency in: Microsoft Excel, AGTEK 4D, On-Screen Take-Off, Building Connected experience with HCSS’s HeavyBid.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with multiple deadlines.
• A team player with long-term leadership potential.

Responsabilités

• Analyze construction drawings and project specifications to prepare accurate cost estimates.
• Interpret and understand contract terms and conditions.
• Develop detailed, well-organized estimates and proposals under deadline.
• Provide comprehensive quantity take-offs for grading, drainage, utilities, and asphalt paving.
• Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and material supplier quotes, ensuring full coverage of project scopes.
• Maintain strong relationships with subcontractors and clients; provide clarification and explore value engineering options.
• Collaborate closely with field personnel to ensure smooth project transitions
• Support Project Managers in the transfer of Field Management
• Assist the Chief Estimator in mentoring and training junior staff
