Job summary

ERock, Inc. is seeking an experienced Estimating Lead to support customer proposals and drive accurate project cost estimates.

You will translate requirements into executable scope and pricing, interact with customers and internal teams, and continually improve estimating processes. Responsibilities include building standardized cost models, presenting drivers, and ensuring estimates align with proposal schedules and contract terms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years estimating, pricing, or cost engineering experience.
• Experience reviewing contracts and pricing terms with customers.
• Strong ability to translate requirements into scope and pricing.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Proficient in Excel and familiar with ERP/CRM systems.

Responsibilities

• Own and run the estimating function for proposals and opportunities.
• Engage with customers to understand requirements and clarify details.
• Develop estimates covering equipment, labor, material, and subs.
• Present estimates and drivers clearly to customers and internal teams.
• Review contracts for pricing and scope impacts with Sales and Legal.
• Improve estimating processes, templates, and data reuse.
