Job summary

Energy Jobline is seeking a Senior Estimator to lead electrical project bids, prepare detailed cost estimates, and guide junior estimators. You will review plans, identify value engineering options, and coordinate quotes from suppliers and subcontractors to ensure competitive proposals.

Responsibilities include documenting estimates, mentoring staff, and presenting scope and pricing to project teams and leadership for successful turnover and execution.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum 4 years' estimating or related experience in closing construction estimates.
Experience with estimating software and CAD/3D tools.

Responsibilities

Prepare estimates from quantity take-off and complete the estimate for printing.
Review specs and drawings; attend pre-bid meetings to define scope.
Develop labor productivity and installation costs based on site data.
Identify qualified suppliers and solicit quotes; review for conformance.
Provide leadership to junior estimators and maintain backup documents.
