Job summary

POWERHOUSE RETAIL SERVICES LLC is seeking a Senior Estimator to manage the Estimating Department, oversee bid preparation, and guide cost projections for materials, labor, and program management across retail projects.

The role emphasizes leadership, process development, and mentorship to ensure accurate, timely submittals, while coordinating with subcontractors, architects, and engineers to mitigate risk and improve bid quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience/training.
• At least four (4) years’ experience estimating commercial, retail, multi-family projects.
• Must possess strong leadership qualities and organizational skills.
• Must possess strong time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and assign opportunities utilizing established systems and processes.
• Lead and execute the estimating efforts for the organization that align with Company objectives.
• Identify risks and opportunities related to pricing strategy and propose solutions.
• Analyze complex projects and divide work into functional stages for multiple estimators/teams.
• Develop systems and processes to improve efficiency and accuracy of the estimating team and processes.
• Supervise team members, negotiate with subcontractors, architects, engineers, and construction managers.
• Lead the estimating team to produce comprehensive proposals including program management plans and bid documents.
