Job summary

JE Dunn Construction seeks a Senior Estimating Engineer to advance the estimating process, develop cost estimates for bids and negotiated proposals, and learn JE Dunn processes and tools to support the project team.

You will perform quantity surveys, review drawings/specifications, coordinate vendor quotes, and lead constructability reviews with QA/QC, while building relationships with clients and subcontractors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering or related field.
• 3+ years construction experience and ability to lift up to 10 pounds.
• Proficiency in reading drawings and specifications; experience with vendor quotes.

Responsibilities

• Performs quantity survey of materials shown on project plans.
• Reads and outlines project specifications.
• Maintains an audit trail of the quantity survey from estimate to estimate.
• Supports vendor/subcontractor pricing/bid solicitation and coordination.
• Supports the distribution of plans to vendors/subcontractors.
• Gains field operational exposure through onsite project support.
