Job summary

JE Dunn Construction is seeking an Estimating Manager 2 to lead complex cost estimates and bid delivery for major projects within our Advanced Facilities group. You will review plans and specs, solicit vendor pricing, and guide risk and feasibility assessments across multiple teams.

The role emphasizes collaboration with operations, subcontractors, and clients, while building in-depth knowledge of project schedules and cost history to improve profitability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management or related field preferred.
• Equivalent relevant experience will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Prepares complex cost estimates for competitive bids and negotiated proposals.
• Tracks and documents cost history and value creation items.
• Develops and manages scopes of work for all trades and vendors.
• Reviews project schedules to inform preconstruction estimates.
• Collaborates with operations for constructability reviews and risk assessment.
• Presents and negotiates estimates and final bid packages.
