Job summary

JE Dunn Construction is seeking an Estimating Manager to lead complex bid development across multiple projects. The role covers quantity surveying, plan/spec review, and coordinating pricing with subcontractors and suppliers.

You will work with project teams to ensure accurate estimates and profitable bids. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in estimating and at least 8+ years in construction, with strong Excel and estimating software skills, and the ability to mentor others.

Qualifications

• 5+ years estimating experience required.
• Preference for total of 8+ years construction experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare complex cost estimates for competitive bids and negotiated proposals.
• Develop scopes of work for all trades and manage bid coordination.
• Analyze project schedules and logistics to inform estimates.
• Coordinate with vendors and subcontractors on pricing.
• Present and sell estimates and proposals to stakeholders.
• Mentor junior staff and provide training on estimating processes.
