Job summary

JE Dunn is seeking an Estimating Manager 2 to lead complex cost estimates and bids on multiple projects. You will manage scopes, coordinate with vendors and subcontractors, and deliver precise estimates aligned with company strategy and risk controls.

The role emphasizes collaboration with operations, strong Excel and estimating software skills, and mentoring teammates while supporting project procurement and feasibility analysis.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management or related field (Preferred)
• 5+ years estimating experience required
• Preference for total of 8+ years construction experience
• Must have valid driver’s license and ability to lift up to 10 pounds
• Willing to work non-traditional hours to meet project needs

Responsibilities

• Prepare complex cost estimates for bids and negotiated proposals
• Prepare material and other cost summaries for quotes
• Track cost history for projects
• Develop and manage scopes of work for all trades
• Coordinate pricing, bid solicitation and coordination with subcontractors
• Provide constructability and coordination reviews with operations
• Deliver professional, comprehensive estimates on major bids
• Build and maintain client and subcontractor relationships
• Lead risk assessment and life-cycle cost feasibility studies
