Job summary

Capital District Physicians Health Plan Inc seeks an EPMO Project Manager to oversee application, operations, and program projects within the Excellus Health Plan framework. You will work with Level II–IV PMs to drive schedules, budgets, and outcomes while ensuring privacy and quality standards.

The role requires strong leadership, effective communication, and a focus on continuous improvement in a healthcare IT environment. Remote work may be considered case-by-case.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field and 3+ years of related work experience.
• Proficiency with MS Project and standard PM tools; knowledge of change management processes.
• Experience in budgeting, scheduling and stakeholder communication.
• Familiarity with Waterfall/Agile/SDLC methods and healthcare IT context.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, and coordinate project activities across matrixed teams.
• Monitor scope, schedule, cost, and risk; report progress to stakeholders.
• Facilitate meetings, maintain meeting notes, and manage change requests.
• Coach and mentor junior PMs and ensure governance across projects.
