Job summary

Excellus BCBS is seeking an EPMO Project Manager to oversee application, operations, and ongoing program projects within the Excellus Health Plan. The role collaborates with Levels II–IV PMs to maintain schedules, budgets, and stakeholder communications while advancing project management practices.

Level I–IV responsibilities include leading meetings, tracking tasks, CM/R processes, and ensuring alignment with enterprise goals. Remote work is possible in some cases.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• Three (3) years related work experience required.
• Technically proficient with MS Project, Word, OneNote, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Proficient in project management methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, SDLC) and stakeholder communication.

Responsibilities

• Plans, directs, and coordinates a matrixed team’s activities to manage approved scope from business case through project close-out.
• Plans, schedules, monitors, and reports on project activities.
• Monitors project economics including costs, budgets, staffing, resources and risks.
• Maintains currency on project management methodologies and fosters continuous improvement.
