Job summary

Davies North America is seeking an experienced claims coverage expert to lead analysis of EPL, Professional Liability, and GL policies, guide complex investigations, and drive strategic resolutions. The role emphasizes high‑severity claims, regulatory compliance, and collaboration with carriers and counsel.

The position offers opportunities to advise internal teams, oversee case strategy, and manage settlements while maintaining rigorous documentation and adherence to laws and company guidelines.

Qualifications

• Active bar membership in good standing (JD required).
• 7–10+ years of senior‑level EPL/Professional Liability/GL claims experience.

Responsibilities

• Review EPL, Professional Liability, BOP, and GL policies and endorsements for coverage issues.
• Oversee complex investigations of employment-related and other liability claims with strategy for resolution.
• Negotiate settlements within authority and participate in mediations.
• Ensure compliance with insurance regulations and maintain thorough documentation.
• Advise internal teams and carriers on coverage matters and strategy.
