Job summary

Davies North America is seeking a Property & Casualty Liability Claims Manager to lead a team of claims professionals, overseeing complex liability exposures, ensuring compliance, quality, and efficient outcomes. This remote role supports government and municipal environments.

The ideal candidate has 8–12 years in liability claims with 3+ years in supervisory roles, and a strong background in GL and BI coverage. Travel up to 15% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Risk Management, or related field; JD or CPCU is a plus.
• 8–12 years of liability claims experience with 3+ years in a leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of general liability, bodily injury, and related coverage lines.
• Experience in government/public sector claims operations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of liability claims adjusters and specialists across multiple jurisdictions.
• Manage complex, high-exposure liability claims including general liability and bodily injury.
• Oversee claims strategy, reserving accuracy, litigation management, and settlements within delegated authority.
• Partner with clients, brokers, attorneys, and vendors to deliver high-quality resolutions.
• Ensure adherence to client service agreements, claims best practices, and regulatory compliance.
• Review claims data to identify trends and support risk mitigation initiatives.
• Provide training and coaching to claims staff.
