Job summary

Davies North America is seeking a senior claims professional to manage high‑severity EPL and professional liability claims from assignment through resolution in the United States. The role emphasizes coverage interpretation, strong litigation judgment, and collaboration with carriers, insureds, and defense counsel.

The successful candidate will handle seven‑figure exposure matters, negotiate settlements, and coordinate with internal stakeholders.

Qualifications

• JD with bar membership in good standing or equivalent senior‑level litigation background.
• 7–10+ years of senior experience handling EPL, professional liability, GL, or complex claims.
• Strong litigation management, liability/damages evaluation, and coverage interpretation.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage a portfolio of high‑severity EPL and professional liability claims from assignment through resolution.
• Evaluate liability, damages, employment law risk, and coverage; advise on strategy with carriers and insureds.
• Direct defense counsel, oversee discovery, and coordinate mediation and trial preparation.
• Establish litigation plans, budgets, milestones, and maintain thorough claim documentation.
