Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Statistics, Biostatistics, Epidemiology, CS, Data Science or related field.
• 8+ years of statistical programming in pharma/biotech/CRO with epidemiology/RWE experience.
• Experience with Optum and Truveta.
• Proficiency in SAS and/or R; ability to develop reproducible programming workflows.
• Experience with large/complex healthcare data sources (claims, EHR, registries).
• Strong understanding of epidemiological study designs and analysis methods.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical and functional leadership to epidemiological programmers; mentor team members.
• Lead hands-on programming for epidemiological studies across therapeutic areas; translate objectives into analyses.
• Develop, validate, and maintain SAS and/or R programs for datasets, tables, figures, and outputs.
• Collaborate with epidemiologists, statisticians, data scientists, and cross-functional partners.
• Oversee deliverables for accuracy, reproducibility, and timelines.
• Promote standards, reusable tools, macros, and quality-control processes.
