Job summary

UCSF Health is seeking a Sr. APeX Application Analyst to lead configuration, build, and install the APeX application within Health IT. You will analyze clinical workflows, document specifications, and drive changes with project teams to support patient care delivery.

You will train end users, troubleshoot during go-live and stabilization, and provide ongoing support as a technical leader with deep knowledge of the application and related workflows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in health care information technology or related field or equivalent experience.
• PharmD degree.
• Epic Willow Ambulatory Application Certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Leads planning and implementation of clinical software, hardware, operating systems and/or distributed clinical information systems.
• Performs advanced analyses of patient care workflow and defines IT solutions for improved integration and outcomes.
• Acts as a technical leader, guiding project plans and senior staff on improvements and upgrades.
• Troubleshoots complex issues and coordinates services between clinical engineering, IT, networks, and vendors.
