Job summary

UCI Health, a major academic health system in California, seeks a functional and technical leader to develop, upgrade, and support clinical information systems. You will independently manage large modules and influence patient care practices while coordinating across teams.

Ideal candidates have Epic Willow certification, 5–7+ years of experience, and strong communication skills to lead projects and maintain cross-functional relationships in a complex health system.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of inpatient workflows and clinical information systems.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.
• Ability to participate in 24-hour on-call rotations.
• Current Epic Willow certification.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop, upgrade, enhance, and support enterprise clinical information systems.
• Independently maintain and manage large modules affecting patient care.
• Facilitate decisions and work efforts impacting applications and care practices.
• Participate in analysis and design of data communication links between systems.
