Job summary

Interwell Health is seeking a Senior Specialist for Epic Solution Delivery (Ambulatory) to drive advanced Epic design, configuration, and integrations across ambulatory workflows. The role requires liaising with stakeholders, mentoring analysts, and ensuring quality across implementations.

You will guide project management, contribute to long-term Epic enhancements, and adapt to a dynamic healthcare IT environment while supporting remote operations across the United States.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in healthcare IT, Epic product development, and/or enterprise software delivery.
• 5+ years of Epic experience, with a deep understanding of Epic system configurations, workflows, and best practices.
• Advanced understanding of the Epic system and deep technical knowledge across multiple Epic modules.
• Epic certification in one or more relevant applications completed and maintained: EpicCare Ambulatory.
• Ability to lead smaller project teams and development initiatives without supervision.
• Strong project management skills including progress reporting, risk management and time tracking.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting capabilities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for client-facing tasks and team leadership.

Responsibilities

• Complex Design and Configuration: Involved in more complex design work, including workflow assessments and advanced Epic solutions for custom workflows or integrations.
• Project Management Support: Assists with planning, scheduling, and resource allocation for Epic implementation projects; leads smaller projects within Epic.
• Mentorship: Provides guidance to Analysts and Senior Analysts on project tasks and Epic configurations.
• Quality Assurance & Testing: Ensures systems meet user requirements through detailed testing and validation.
• Stakeholder Interaction: Engages with clients and internal stakeholders to ensure requirements are understood and met; trains end-users.
• Innovation and Feedback: Proposes improvements to Epic system and processes; shares regular feedback with Epic.
