The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center is seeking a Senior Electronic Health Record System Analyst - Epic Prelude/Referrals to support the Clinical Access Revenue System department. This role focuses on optimizing patient access, referrals, and revenue cycle workflows powered by Epic systems.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, extensive healthcare IT experience, and Epic certifications such as Prelude, Cadence, or Referrals.

Qualifications

Requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
Advanced expertise in healthcare IT and Epic systems, especially referrals and access workflows.
Preferred: experience as a referrals analyst, project management, and knowledge of financial clearance workflow design.

Responsibilities

Lead implementation, maintenance, and optimization of the Epic EHR system.
Coordinate cross-functional teams to address system challenges and workflow improvements.
Translate business needs into technical configurations and enhancements.
Mentor staff and lead project teams to meet objectives and timelines.
