Job summary

UT MD Anderson Cancer Center seeks an EHR Systems Analyst to support Epic systems and revenue cycle workflows. The role focuses on validating configurations, implementing enhancements, and ensuring patient safety across clinical and billing domains.

The ideal candidate holds Epic certification, with prior healthcare IT or clinical experience, and will collaborate with cross-functional teams in a fully remote capacity within Texas.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; relevant healthcare IT experience preferred.
• Minimum 2 years clinical or healthcare IT experience; 3+ preferred.
• EPIC certification within 180 days required or pursued.

Responsibilities

• Obtain Epic certification within 180 days of hire and maintain required certifications.
• Adhere to standard operating procedures and maintain build and testing standards with SME or governance signoff.
• Follow IS division best practices and institutional policies, procedures, and standards.
• Prepare documentation for implementation of enhancements or new technology.
• Follow documented change control processes.
• Perform quality control and testing to ensure solutions are technically sound.
