Job summary

Northwell Health is seeking a Senior Epic Build Analyst to design, build, and optimize Epic workflows with a focus on MyChart, Patient Access, and Welcome workflows. This role supports implementations, upgrades, and ongoing support while troubleshooting complex issues and enhancing patient-facing digital experiences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent required
• 3-5 years of Epic build experience required
• Epic certification required
• Strong MyChart workflows, patient communications, and patient access experience
• Experience with MyChart, Welcome (kiosk), and appointment scheduling workflows
• Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills
• Hello World (email/SMS communications) experience is a plus
• Familiarity with ServiceNow for incident and enhancement management
• Experience supporting Epic implementations, upgrades, or go-lives
• Strong communication and collaboration skills preferred

Responsibilities

• Supports various financial systems within the portfolio, ensuring data integrity and timely financial reporting.
• Analyzes and troubleshoots production problems; escalates issues and implements solutions.
• Acts as project/product lead on large, complex projects or multiple projects.
• Collaborates with multiple product teams, solution leads, IT and business stakeholders.
• Implements or enhances systems following lifecycle and hybrid project methods.
• Maintains responsibility for project outcomes and gathers business requirements from end users.
• Creates technical designs and communicates requirements to external developers.
• Develops and executes detailed test plans; trains end users and documents processes.
• Identifies risks and issues; communicates scope, timelines and deliverables.
• Keeps current with new functionalities and accounting concepts relevant to healthcare finance.
