Job summary

Tegria is seeking an Advisory, HB Epic Applications Analyst to deliver Epic expertise to managed services and consulting clients in healthcare. You will configure, optimize, troubleshoot, and support Epic applications, aligning with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.

You will engage with stakeholders to analyze workflows, implement system enhancements, and participate in testing, training, and documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or healthcare-related certification or equivalent experience.
• Epic certification with ability to support three or more HB, PB and Claims applications.
• 8+ years of Epic application analyst experience or Epic consulting background.
• Experience working on multiple projects or clients simultaneously.
• Expert knowledge of assigned applications and relevant workflows.
• Strong understanding of healthcare workflows, clinical and business operations, regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Communicate clearly and proactively, providing updates and managing client expectations.
• Track decisions, support change management, and minimize business disruptions.
• Collaborate with Client Success Managers to assist with client requests and provide outcome data.
• Assess client needs and current system builds to identify modifications to meet specifications.
• Document requirements and recommend solutions aligned with regulatory changes and IT updates.
• Configure, test, and validate modifications to meet requirements without downstream issues.
• Advise on deploying optimized functionality based on best practices and vendor recommendations.
• Build, test, train, and implement new infrastructure, workflows, and policies.
• Fully test deliverables to ensure reliability and accuracy.
• Document processes, analyze gaps, and deliver improvements.
• Provide Tier 2/3 support per SLAs and on-call commitments.
• Escalate issues to EHR and third-party vendors and validate solutions.
• Maintain change control and build documentation, identifying engagement risks.
• Support sales efforts and help scope potential engagements.
