Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Pharmacy Applications IT Analyst to design and deliver technical and non-technical solutions for Epic and related systems. You will gather requirements, coordinate development with IT staff, and act as a liaison to ensure solutions meet clinical service line needs.

The role supports multiple projects, provides training, and ensures data integrity and system performance. Remote work is available for select states; travel may be required at times.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• EPIC certification within 6 months and annual renewal.
• Typically 5 years IT or clinical environment experience with process mapping and requirements.
• Proficient with EPIC and other applications, OS and databases.
• Strong project management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop technical solutions to moderate to complex business needs by gathering and reviewing information and data.
• Coordinate development and implementation of new functionality with users and IT staff.
• Serve as liaison between business and IT to meet user needs and ensure alignment with strategic directions.
• Assist with conversion, training, and maintenance tasks across multiple projects.
• Lead or support analysis, design, configuration, testing, documentation, and performance monitoring.
