Advocate Health is seeking an experienced Pharmacy Applications IT Analyst to design, implement and support Epic-related solutions across clinical pharmacy workflows. The role focuses on delivering projects that improve patient care through optimized application usage and data integrity.

You will collaborate with business users, IT staff and Epic vendors, lead requirements, testing and deployment efforts, and ensure reliable system performance within a complex healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field required.
• Typically 5+ years in IT or clinical environment with mapping, analysis, requirements, testing and documentation.
• Proficient in using EPIC and other applications; strong communication with health care staff and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Serve as IT liaison between business and IT to provide technical solutions for user needs.
• Analyze clinical service line operations to identify opportunities to automate processes.
• Coordinate system development, implementation, testing and maintenance activities.
• Support and troubleshoot Epic and related applications; assist with training and user adoption.
• Communicate effectively with users on complex project requirements and impact on data/workflows.
