Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a skilled IT analyst to design, implement and support Epic-based solutions across clinical service lines. You will work with IT and clinical staff to gather requirements, map processes and coordinate new functionality with user teams.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s in CS or related field, plus about five years in IT or a clinical setting, and EPIC certification within six months. Remote options are available from several states.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field.
• EPIC certification within 6 months as required by department.
• Typically 5 years in IT or clinical environment with mapping, requirements, testing and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Designs and develops solutions to moderate to complex business needs by gathering data, evaluating systems, and coordinating new functionality with users and IT staff.
• Assists with conversion and operational planning for multiple projects; may lead training activities.
• Identify how requirements impact multiple application areas and propose non-conflicting solutions across design teams.
