Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking an IT Analyst for Pharmacy Applications to design and develop technical solutions for Epic and related systems, coordinating across clinical and IT teams to meet complex business needs.

Responsibilities include examining requirements, supporting conversions and trainings, and ensuring data integrity while balancing multiple projects. A Bachelor's in CS (or related) and EPIC certification within 6 months are required, with about 5 years IT/clinical experience.

Qualifications

Within 6 months, obtain and maintain EPIC certification.
Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent knowledge) in Computer Science or related field.
5+ years in IT or clinical environment with process mapping and requirements definition.
Proficient in EPIC and other applications, operating systems and databases.
Strong project management skills.

Responsibilities

Design and develop solutions to moderate to complex business needs with Epic and third-party apps.
Coordinate development and implementation of new functionality with users and IT staff.
Assist with conversion and operational support planning for multiple projects.
Provide training when applicable.
Serve as liaison between business and IT to meet user needs.
Communicate project requirements, impact, and training needs to users.
