Job summary

Washington Regional Medical Center is seeking an Applications Analyst – Epic Ambulatory to optimize outpatient workflows, support clinical documentation, and improve care coordination. You will partner with clinic leadership, providers, and Epic/vendor teams to enhance ambulatory processes and ensure reliable application performance.

The role requires Epic Ambulatory certification, 4–6 years in clinical applications, and strong testing, build, and integration skills, with an emphasis on patient

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or clinical license required.
• Epic Ambulatory certification required; EpicCare Link certification preferred.
• 4–6 years of clinical applications experience with Epic build, testing, implementation and optimization.
• Experience with Epic Ambulatory workflows including outpatient documentation, orders, referrals, and patient access.
• Strong understanding of clinical dependencies, testing methodologies, interfaces, and integrations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain advanced knowledge of Epic Ambulatory functionality and outpatient workflow design.
• Lead ambulatory stakeholders and partners in enhancements and optimization.
• Oversee Epic Ambulatory design, build, configuration, maintenance, and validation.
• Perform complex analysis, build, implementation, and optimization of Epic Ambulatory workflows.
• Lead coordinated testing plans for Epic Ambulatory including regression, unit, system, and interface testing.
• Mentor team members and provide training as needed.
• Ensure programs meet accrediting standards and protect patient information.
• Monitor help desk tickets and resolve existing issues.
