Amentum is seeking a Deputy Contracts Package Manager (Mechanical) to support the Spent Fuel Handling Project near the Naval Reactors Facility at Idaho National Lab, ~55 miles from Idaho Falls. This role interfaces with construction subcontractors onsite and the Contract Package Manager to ensure safety, schedule, and quality compliance.

Qualifications

• Requires 5+ years managing industrial construction projects with increasing responsibility.
• US citizenship to comply with government requirements.
• Strong understanding of Mechanical activities (HVAC, piping, equipment sets).
• Excellent verbal and written communication across all levels.

Responsabilités

• Forecast subcontract budgets and schedules; prepare monthly EAC data.
• Process all formal technical transmittals, reports, RFIs, submittals, change orders, and NCRs with teams.
• Conduct on-site coordination meetings with subcontractors; record agendas/minutes.
• Review site logistics with the Construction Manager and Superintendent.
• Review and approve daily/weekly/monthly subcontractor reports for completeness.
• Coordinate daily work schedules and Plan of the Day meetings.
• Maintain daily construction logs and ensure timely closure of issues.
• Ensure TCRs, RFIs, and NCRs are closed with engineering/quality teams.
• Review and approve subcontractor pay applications; forward for CMP approval.
