Job summary

Amentum seeks a Project Scheduler to support the Spent Fuel Handling Project at the Naval Reactors Facility on the Idaho National Lab property. The role collaborates with the Construction Manager and Project Controls Manager to develop project plans and validate subcontractor schedules (baseline, monthly, and three-week look-ahead) with focus on forecasting and schedule analysis.

Qualifications

• 5 or more years of work experience.
• 3+ years on large scale heavy industrial projects.
• Experience with Primavera P6.
• 5 or more years of experience (demonstrating proficiency) in administering project schedules.
• Experience with the MS Office Suite - specifically Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to plan, organize, document, perform, review, and present multiple subprojects with minimum supervision.
• Communication skills including the ability to interact with all levels of the project team.
• Documentation and the ability to clearly articulate to others.
• Proof of US Citizenship (to comply with government customer requirements and/or applicable government regulations)

Responsibilities

• Review and maintain subcontractor schedules in P6.
• Assist in the integration of subcontractor schedules into a master Integrated Construction Schedule.
• Reporting and monitoring progress on major construction project milestones.
• Supporting the Project Controls Manager in review of multiple subcontractor schedules in tracking the status of work on a weekly basis.
• Preparing daily, weekly, and monthly reports and other ad hoc reporting as requested by the Construction Manager and Project Controls Manager.
• Supports the Project Controls Manager with day-to-day administration of the project, including the financial control, reporting, and monitoring.
• Provides the earned value progress and performance reporting for the project.
• Provide variance analysis of schedule slip.
• Frequent contact with project management, project team members, field craft, and finance stakeholders
