Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking a Senior Scheduler to develop and maintain integrated EPC schedules from preconstruction through execution. The role requires collaboration with multiple units and oversight of less-experienced schedulers. The position is remote with periodic travel to job sites in the South Central and Midwest Regions.

Qualifications

• Engineering, Construction Management, or Architectural degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum 5 years construction scheduling experience.
• Prior Scheduling experience in an EPC environment is required.
• High proficiency and experience using P6 Software required.
• Strong ability to read and understand plans and specifications.
• Thorough knowledge of construction methods and processes.
• Solid understanding of construction-related Critical Path Method scheduling.
• Strong knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point).
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, including business writing skills, and professional telephone manner.
• Reliability, dependability and flexibility.
• Ability to travel to jobsites.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor assigned schedulers, supporting their personal and career development.
• Develop and maintain realistic EPC project schedules using P6 software.
• Analyze project documents (drawings, contracts) to form the basis of EPC schedules.
• Attend project meetings to gather updates and address schedule issues.
• Update schedules bi-monthly, incorporating actuals and monitoring critical path deviations.
• Propose corrective actions to the project team based on schedule analysis.
• Communicate schedule updates to the project teams, and the scheduling manager.
• Lead internal and external meetings, analyzing scopes for schedule mitigation, propose solutions.
