Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking a Senior Scheduler to develop and maintain integrated EPC schedules from preconstruction through execution. You will collaborate with schedulers and stakeholders across PV, storage, and substation projects, and you will oversee less-experienced schedulers.

Expect travel to job sites; the role is remote with periodic site visits in the South Central and Midwest Regions. You will lead scheduling activities, ensure CPM logic and durations, and maintain delay logs while

Qualifications

• Engineering, Construction Management, or Architectural degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum 5 years construction scheduling experience.
• Prior Scheduling experience in an EPC environment is required.
• High proficiency and experience using P6 Software required.
• Strong ability to read and understand plans and specifications.
• Thorough knowledge of construction methods and processes.
• Solid understanding of construction-related Critical Path Method scheduling.
• Strong knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point).
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, including business writing skills, and professional telephone manner.
• Reliability, dependability and flexibility.
• Ability to travel to jobsites.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor assigned schedulers, supporting their personal and career development.
• Contribute to training curriculum development for company-wide schedule management.
• Participate in company onboarding to align with project controls objectives.
• Develop and maintain realistic EPC project schedules using P6 software.
• Analyze project documents to form the basis of EPC schedules.
• Perform quantity take-offs to establish accurate activity durations.
• Consult with internal teams for feedback and improvement.
• Attend project meetings to gather updates and address schedule issues.
• Update schedules bi-monthly with actuals and critical path monitoring.
• Propose corrective actions and communicate updates to teams and scheduling manager.
• Lead internal and external meetings to analyze scopes for schedule mitigation.
• Maintain delay logs and contract information, including LD exposure with custom P6 reports.
• Monitor progress using company software and regional status reports.
