Job summary

The Perry Group, Ltd., a CDM Smith company, is seeking an experienced design-build/EPC Project Manager with substantial experience in heavy industrial power / power plants. You will lead project definitions, schedules, budgets, and stakeholder alignment to ensure profitable execution.

Responsibilities include preparing statements of work, managing costs, client billings, risk monitoring, and coordinating submittals with agencies. Travel is 10% or less.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Thirteen (13) or more years of relevant work experience.
• PMP (PMI), CCM or DBIA certification is required (within 12 months of hire or promotion onto the Approved Project Manager list).
• Significant design-build / EPC experience with heavy industrial power/power plant clients.

Responsibilities

• Creates project definitions, schedules, budgets, and objectives for projects.
• Prepares detailed statements of work with associated work breakdown structures (budgets) and gains concurrence and approval from internal and external stakeholders.
• Manages project costs and is responsible for ensuring profitability.
• Creates and reviews timely client billings with internal billing support and ensures timely client payment.
• Monitors project risks and escalates as appropriate.
• Coordinates submittals to local/state/federal agencies.
• Prepares monthly reports.
• Prepares bid packages.
• Prepares and distribute addendums.
