Job summary

The Perry Group, a CDM Smith company, is seeking an experienced design-build/EPC Project Manager with heavy industrial power plant experience to lead complex projects from definition through closeout.

You will develop schedules and budgets, manage costs and change control, coordinate with engineering and construction teams, mentor junior staff, and ensure client satisfaction while delivering on-time, within-budget results.

Qualifications

• Thirteen (13) or more years of relevant work experience
• PMP (PMI), CCM or DBIA certification required within 12 months
• Significant design-build / EPC experience with heavy industrial power/power plant clients

Responsibilities

• Creates project definitions, schedules, budgets, and objectives.
• Prepares statements of work with budgets and gains concurrence from stakeholders.
• Manages project costs and profitability.
• Prepares and reviews client billings and ensures timely payment.
• Monitors project status and escalates risks as needed.
• Handles change management and approvals for engineering changes.
• Communicates deadlines and objectives to project teams.
• Prepares overall project schedule and in-house budgets by group.
• Facilitates meetings with stakeholders.
• Mentors less experienced Project Managers.
