Job summary

The Perry Group, Ltd., a CDM Smith company, is seeking an experienced design-build/EPC Project Manager with strong heavy industrial power/power plant expertise. This role leads project definitions, budgets, schedules, and client communications in a fast-paced environment.

You will manage costs, ensure profitability, coordinate with engineering and construction teams, and oversee invoicing, subcontractor payments, and deliverables while guiding project risk and change management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Thirteen (13) or more years of relevant work experience.
• PMP (PMI), CCM or DBIA certification is required (within 12 months of hire or promotion onto the Approved Project Manager list).
• Experience with design-build / EPC and heavy industrial power/power plant clients.

Responsibilities

• Creates project definitions, schedules, budgets, and objectives for projects.
• Prepares detailed statements of work with work breakdown structures (budgets) and gains concurrence from stakeholders.
• Manages project costs and profitability.
• Ensures timely client invoicing and payment; approves subcontractor invoices.
• Monitors project risks and escalates as appropriate.
• Coordinates and monitors the technical work of each task / deliverable.
• Prepares monthly reports and bid packages.
