Job summary

CDM Smith seeks an experienced design-build/EPC Project Manager with significant experience in heavy industrial power/ power plants. You will define projects, create schedules and budgets, oversee profitability, and manage client billings and subcontractor payments.

The role involves coordinating with engineering disciplines, preparing closeouts, lessons learned, and leading project teams. A Bachelor’s degree and 13+ years of experience are required; PMP/CCM/DBIA are expected within 12 months.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Creates project definitions, schedules, budgets and objectives.
• Manages project costs and profitability.
• Prepares statements of work and work breakdown structures.
• Reviews and approves invoices to ensure timely payment.
• Monitors project status and escalates risks as needed.
• Makes and maintains project changes using change management protocols.
• Prepares monthly reports and bid packages.
• Mentors less experienced Project Managers.
