Job summary

CDM Smith seeks an experienced design-build/EPC Project Manager for heavy industrial power projects. You will create project definitions, schedules, budgets and manage profitability while coordinating with internal/external stakeholders.

Responsibilities include budgeting, client billings, change management, and mentoring junior staff. Must have a Bachelor’s degree, 13+ years of experience, and PMI/DBIA certifications within 12 months of hire; travel up to 10% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Thirteen or more years of relevant work experience.
• PMP (PMI), CCM or DBIA certification required within 12 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Creates project definitions, schedules, budgets, and objectives for projects.
• Manages project costs and ensures profitability.
• Prepares statements of work with WBS and secures approvals.
• Reviews and approves subcontractor/vendor invoices for timely payment.
• Monitors project status and escalates risks as needed.
• Mentors less experienced Project Managers.
