Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking an experienced design-build/EPC Project Manager with significant heavy industrial power plant experience. The role involves defining projects, managing budgets, schedules, and stakeholders, and ensuring profitability and timely payments.

Responsibilities include cost control, change management, coordination with engineering and construction teams, and mentoring junior managers. Travel is anticipated at 10% or less.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Thirteen (13) or more years of relevant work experience.
• PMP (PMI), CCM or DBIA certification is required within 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Creates project definitions, schedules, budgets, and objectives.
• Manages project costs and profitability.
• Reviews and approves subcontractor and vendor invoices.
• Coordinates and monitors technical work and deliverables.
• Prepares monthly reports and bid packages.
• Mentors less experienced Project Managers.
