Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking an experienced Design-Build/EPC Project Manager focused on heavy industrial power projects. You will define project scope, develop schedules and budgets, oversee client billings, and manage subcontractor payments across multiple stakeholders.

The role requires deep experience in project management, strong leadership, and the ability to coordinate cross-disciplinary teams to meet deadlines and project goals.

Qualifications

• Thirteen (13) or more years of relevant work experience.
• PMP (PMI), CCM or DBIA certification required within 12 months of hire.
• Experience with design-build/EPC projects in heavy industrial power.
• Strong communication and leadership skills; ability to manage diverse teams.

Responsibilities

• Create project definitions, schedules, budgets, and objectives.
• Prepare statements of work and work breakdown structures with approvals.
• Manage project costs and ensure profitability.
• Prepare and review client billings and ensure timely payments; approve subcontractor invoices.
• Monitor project status, risks, and progress toward deliverables; escalate as needed.
• Lead meetings with stakeholders and coordinate submittals with agencies.
